Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 May 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Client Pulse (the "Service"), operated by Matrix One. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Client Pulse is a sales-intelligence tool that monitors the publicly available news, LinkedIn activity, and regulatory filings of companies on your tracking list, classifies them with AI, and delivers the results to Slack or Microsoft Teams. Detailed feature documentation lives at /sections/signal-feed.

2. Accounts

  • You may only register with a work email (no personal-email accounts).
  • Users at the same email domain share access to a single organisation — the first user to register effectively bootstraps the organisation.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for all activity on your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the Service in a way that risks our infrastructure.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Try to reverse-engineer, decrypt, or otherwise extract our source code (which is in fact open — see the GitHub link in the footer)
  • Use the Service to scrape data in violation of the Terms of the upstream data source (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, etc.) — your responsibility, not ours
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or malicious content via the Slack / Teams integrations
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related systems without prior written permission
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

4. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you upload (company lists, descriptions, notes, custom feed URLs, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host that data and process it on your behalf so the Service can function — for example, to call Anthropic's API on your text or post messages to your Slack workspace.

Outbound messages we deliver to Slack or Teams on your behalf reflect your configuration. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you push to those channels complies with your own organisation's policies.

For details on what we collect and how it's stored, see the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party APIs:

  • Anthropic Claude for AI classification + chat
  • LinkdAPI for LinkedIn data
  • Slack + Microsoft Teams for message delivery
  • Supabase for database + authentication
  • Google for optional OAuth sign-in

Each of those providers has its own terms which you also agree to when using the Service. If a provider's API is degraded or unavailable, the corresponding feature in the Service will be too.

6. AI-generated content

Signal classification, summaries, and chat replies are generated by Anthropic's Claude. AI output:

  • Can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Should not be treated as legal, regulatory, or financial advice
  • May vary in quality between requests

You are responsible for verifying anything material before acting on it. The Service is a research aid, not a decision-maker.

7. API quotas and cost

Some operations consume third-party API credits (LinkdAPI, Anthropic). The Service surfaces these costs in the API usage widget so you can budget accordingly. We are not responsible for overages caused by features you intentionally enable (e.g. unbounded custom feed scraping). The Smart-sync planner exists specifically to keep these costs predictable.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no formal uptime guarantee. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may take the Service down for maintenance, upgrades, or to migrate infrastructure. We will provide reasonable notice in the app or via email when scheduled downtime is required.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, email ragool@matrixreq.com. We will process the request within 30 days.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use rules in section 3, or that we reasonably believe are abusing the Service. Where possible we will give notice.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • We do not warrant that the AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matrix One and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Aggregate liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — which, for accounts not on a paid plan, is €0.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and via email. The "Last updated" date at the top is authoritative. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Paris, unless a mandatory law in your jurisdiction grants you an alternative venue.
