Potential clients

Claude scans every fetched signal for other companies mentioned by name — partnerships, customers, named vendors, acquisition targets. Those names land here.

Discovery

Happens automatically as part of normal classify. No extra API call. Items deduped vs your tracked companies (so it never duplicates a company you already have).

Lazy enrichment

On first page open of a potential, Claude fetches public info — website, LinkedIn URL, industry, country, 1-2 sentence description. Cached for 30 days. Subsequent visits are instant + free.

Actions

  • Send to Slack — bulk-select multiple + send a single message
  • Promote to client — copies the potential into your companies table (needs LinkedIn URL, so it works only after enrichment). The potential is dismissed; the new company becomes a fully tracked target with its own signal feed.
  • Dismiss — remove from the list (no impact elsewhere)

When a potential is wrong

Claude sometimes flags generic mentions ("hospitals", "the FDA"). Dismiss — they don't get re-flagged. If a real-but-irrelevant mention keeps coming back, refine your signal-type descriptions to be more specific about what counts.
